NEET SS 2023 Cut-Off: Government of India has written to the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences to recommend to reduce the cut-off qualifying percentile for NEET SS Counselling 2023.
"The issue has been considered by the Ministry in consultation with National Medical Commission (NMC). The NMC has recommended for cut off qualifying percentile for NEET SS-2023 may be reduced to 20 points. The recommendation of the NMC has been approved by the Hon'ble HFM. It is requested to take further necessary action in this matter," reads the letter.
NEET SS 2023 Counselling Round 2 postponed till further notice
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has postponed the NEET SS counselling 2023 Round 2 till further notice. It was expected to start on December 5, 2023.
"Commencement of Round 2 of SS counselling has been briefly postponed. Candidates are advised to keep in touch with the website for further updates," said MCC's statement. Moreover, MCC opened the seat resignation process for Round 1 of NEET SS counselling till December 14.

National Board of Education conducts NEET SS for admission to DM/ MCh courses. There is going to be a total of two rounds of NEET SS counselling - round 1 and round 2. The counselling process started on November 8, 2023.
