NEET SS 2023 Round 2 likely to begin on or after December 15
NEET SS 2023 Counselling Round 2 registration process was postponed by MCC. There is no official notification on when it will start, however, as the round 1 seat resignation process will end on December 14, 2023. Medical Counselling Committee, MCC is expected to start the NEET SS 2023 Counselling Round 2 registration process on or after December 15, 2023.
The Commission has reopened the NEET SS 2023 counselling Round 1 seat resignation process for candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 1 and wish to resign the seat. Those candidates need to send an undertaking along with the necessary documents to MCC at colleges.superspeciality@gmail.com by December 12, 10 AM. The seat resignation facility will be open from December 12, 3 PM to December 14, 5 PM.
Earlier, NEET SS 2023 counselling Round 2 registration process was scheduled to start on December 5 and the choice filling process was slated to start on December 6. However, now the Commission has postponed the NEET SS 2023 counselling Round 2 registration till further notice. The application process for round 2 is expected to start on or after December 15, 2023.
“Commencement of Round 2 of SS counselling has been briefly postponed. Candidates are advised to keep in touch with the website for further updates,” said MCC.
Steps to register for NEET SS 2023 counselling Round 2
Once the application process starts, the candidates can follow these steps to apply for the round 2:
- Visit the MCC's official website - mcc.nic.in.
- Select the NEET SS section and then the link for fresh registration.
- Complete the NEET SS Counselling 2023 Round 2 registration form and attach the necessary files.
- Deposit the registration fee as well as the security deposit.
- Fill out the application form and click on submit.
NEET SS 2023 Cut-Off: The Government has recommended the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences to reduce the cut-off qualifying percentile for NEET SS Counselling 2023 by 20 points.
