NEET SS Counselling 2021: Doctors expect positive news from SC today
FAIMA (Federation of All India Medical Association) is expecting some positive news on the expedition of NEET SS Counselling 2021 today from Supreme Court.
The Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India, has replied to FAIMA's (Federation of All India Medical Association) letter requesting the government to expedite the NEET SS Counselling 2021.
The government's letter says, "It is hereby informed to you that, the examination of Super speciality was conducted on 10.01.2022 & the result was declared on 31.01.2022. As the counselling schedule for SS Counselling has not been published, because until present no opinion is expressed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court. However, the Hon'ble Bench is likely to take up the matter on 04.03.2022. In addition, it is pertinent to mention that MCC, DGHS has begun the backend preparation for conducting SS Counselling as & when direct by the Hon'ble Supreme Court."
"MCC, DGHS is strictly adhering to the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court & cannot take any action until any further order is received from the Hon'ble Supreme Court," the letter added.
FAIMA tweet reads, "We Thanks #Dr_B_Srinivas ADG(ME) @DghsIndia @MoHFW_INDIA for being proactive in this genuine issue of the expedition of NEET-SS Counselling 2021. We expect to get positive news regarding the same in a hearing dated 04-03-2022 in the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. @NMC_IND @NBEMS_INDIA"
Doctors Associations urge govt to expedite NEET SS Counselling 2021
After FAIMA had written to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya for requesting him to expedite NEET SS Counselling 2021, the Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA) had also urged the Union Minister for the same.
