NEET SS Counselling 2023: MCC Releases Special Round Eligibility Criteria

NEET SS counselling 2023 Special Round counselling is commencing today, February 5, 2024. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) released the eligibility criteria for candidates to participate in the final round of counselling for admission to DM, MCh and DNB SS courses. Know the details here.

NEET SS 2023 counselling for Special round is scheduled to begin today, February 5, 2024. Prior to the commencement of the registration process, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) released the eligibility criteria for this round.

Before this, MCC also allowed INI SS allotted candidates to resign their seats by February 3, 2024, in order to avoid wastage of seats. MCC has provided a list of 13 candidates who were allowed to Resign their seats. “Candidates who have reported on their allotted seats through MCC (as per attached list) can now take their original certificates back from the allotted college. However, such candidates will not be eligible to participate in Special Round of All India SS Counselling 2023.  The seats so vacated will be included in upcoming Special Round of SS Counselling 2023,” stated MCC.

NEET SS Counselling 2023 Special Round Eligibility Criteria

MCC has laid down the following eligibility criteria to participate in the Special Round of the NEET SS counselling 2023.

1. Resignation will be permitted only for those joined candidates, who have been allotted seats in INI institutes;
2. The candidates who have joined round 1 or round 2 seats of MCC and not allotted INI seats, will not be allowed to resign from their joined seats;
3. The upgradation facility will be available in Special Round to all candidates who have joined in Round 1 and Round 2 of MCC counselling 2023;
4. Candidates willing to participate in Special Round or willing to upgrade previously allotted seats have to fill fresh choices in Special Round. Earlier filled choices will be treated as null and void.

The last round of NEET SS 2023 counselling will be conducted till February 15, 2024. The registration, choice filling and locking rounds will be conducted till February 7, 2024. Seats will be allotted to DM, MCh and DNB SS courses through this counselling.
