NEET SS Counselling 2023: Round 1 Seat Resignation Facility Reopened

MCC has reopened the NEET SS counselling 2023 Round 1 seat resignation process. Candidates allotted INI SS seats can apply for seat resignation without forfeiture of seats by sending email by December 12, 10 AM. The resignation process will be open till December 14. Know the details here.

NEET SS counselling 2023 Round 1 resignation process has been reopened by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Candidates who have been allotted INI SS seats and wish to resign the NEET SS allotted seats, have to send mail to MCC by December 12, 10 AM.

Such candidates will have to send their INI SS Rank Letter along with the undertaking to MCC at colleges.superspeciality@gmail.com. The resignation facility will be provided from December 12, 3 PM to December 14, 5 PM.

According to MCC, candidates who are allotted seats in INIs and wish to resign their seats may approach their allotted college to resign and collect their original documents within the stipulated time. It should be ensured by the candidates that the resignation letter is generated ‘Online’ from the MCC portal by the college authorities. Any offline resignation taken by the college will be treated as ‘Null & Void’.

MCC adds, “The INI allotted candidates who do not report on their allotted seat will be allowed Free Exit only if they send mails along with required documents within stipulated time. Candidates are advised to stay in touch with website for update on further schedule of counselling.”

Originally, the last date to resign the NEET SS counselling 2023 Round 1 seats was till December 3, which was extended till December 4, 6 PM. The Round 2 registration process was scheduled to commence on December 5, which has been postponed until further notice.

Based on the notification for the reopening of the Round 1 seat resignation, it can be estimated that the NEET SS counselling Round 2 registration process will begin on or after December 15. MCC has not released the revised schedule for the NEET SS counselling 2023 Round 2.
