NEET UG 2021: JKBOPEE issues revised seat matrix
As per JKBOPEE's revised seat matrix for NEET-UG 2021, EWS has 107 seats including 96 for MBBS and 11 seats for BDS across the government medical colleges in Jammu and Kashmir.
Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released the revised seat matrix of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2021) for both MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) courses in private and government medical colleges in the Jammu and Kashmir region.
JKBOPEE's official notice on this says, “It is hereby notified that the tentative Seat Matrix of NEET-UG 2021 dated 01-02-2022 uploaded by the Board on its website shall be deemed to have been withdrawn abinitio. The revised Seat Matrix is available on the website of the Board viz www.ikbopee.gov.inonly.”
“The candidate(s) who desire to edit his/her online preferences submitted earlier can do so after uploading of updated/ revised seat matrix. Moreover, the eligible registered candidates figuring in the provisional merit list who have not earlier submitted their online preferences can also do the same by paying the online fee of Rs 1500 w.e.f. 23-02-2022 to 24-02-2022 (mid-night),” the notice added.
As per the revised seat matrix, the economically weaker section (EWS) has got a total of 107 seats including 96 MBBS and 11 BDS seats across the government medical colleges in the Jammu and Kashmir, the Open Merit (OM) seats across the government medical colleges in Jammu and Kashmir is 423 MBBS and 54 BDS seats.
In the private medical and dental colleges in Jammu and Kashmir, a total of 200 seats are available including 100 for MBBS and 100 for dental and for OM, there are 80 seats including 40 for MBBS and 40 for BDS.
