NEET UG 2023 candidate's question paper was torn; AIJNSA writes to NTA

Muskan Kharwar, a NEET UG 2023 candidate, alleged that her question paper was torn between pages 2 to 20, and despite her attempt to raise the issue to the invigilator, her complaint was reportedly not addressed. Now, AIJNSA has written to the Director General of the National Testing Agency and urged an investigation into the matter.

AIJNSA has written to the Director General of the National Testing Agency to highlight this incident and urged the agency to probe into the matter.

AIJNSA's letter reads, "The NEET UG examination is an important milestone for students who aspire to become medical professionals, and it is essential that they are provided with a fair and equal opportunity to compete for their dreams."

"This type of incident raises serious doubts about the credibility and sensitivity of the @DG_NTA toward the future of students like Muskan," said another tweet by the association.  

"I urge you to investigate this incident thoroughly and take necessary action to ensure that Muskan is given a fair chance to appear for the NEET UG examination without any further hindrance or prejudice. It is imperative that the NTA takes responsibility for the mishap that occurred and that necessary measures are taken to prevent such incidents from happening in the future," added the letter.

After the NEET UG 2023 exam is over now, NTA is expected to release the NEET UG 2023 answer key soon at the official website neet.nta.nic.in. First, it will release the provisional answer keys and based on the objections raised by the applicants, the final answer keys will be released.
