NEET UG 2023 Counselling: MBBS admission deadline extended to November 27

National Medical Commission has extended the last date to fill up the online details of 1st year MBBS Course students admitted for the academic year 2023-24 to November 27, 2023. Earlier, the last date to apply for the Special Stray Vacancy Round for the vacant MBBS seats of AIQ and State Quota was announced as November 15, 2023.

The decision to extend the deadline was taken based on the Supreme Court's judgement to fill the vacant seats.

"In compliance to the directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Diary No. 45004 of 2023 filed by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for extension of last date for admission of under graduate course in W.P. © No. 76 to 2015, all the NEET UG 2023 eligible candidates were informed about the extension of last date of admission of under graduate courses and to conduct a Special Stray Vacancy Round for the vacant MBBS seats of AIQ and State Quota along with the schedule of Special Stray Vacany Round of UG Counselling for MBBS Seats – 2023," reads the official notification.

MCC closed the NEET UG 2023 counselling on November 15, 2023. The portal is now once again opened for eligible candidates.

“It is directed to fill up the online details of 1st year MBBS Course students admitted for the academic year 2023-24 latest by 27th November 2023,” added NMC.
