The last date for joining the allotted institutes for the NEET UG 2023 Counselling Special Stray Vacancy Round for AIQ and State is November 15, 2023.

NEET UG 2023 Counselling: MCC releases schedule of Special Stray Vacancy Round for AIQ, State 

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the schedule of the Special Stray Vacancy Round for All India Quota and State Quota. The Special Stray Vacancy Round for central counselling (All India Quota/Deemed/Central Universities) will be held from today, October 31, 2023, and will end on November 7, 2023. For State Counselling, this round will be held between November 7, 2023, to November 10, 2023. The last date for joining for both AIQ and State is November 15, 2023.

The sharing of Joined candidates' data by MCC for weeding out by states is scheduled to be held on November 7, 2023. State Counselling authorities are directed to conduct the seat processing for the Special Stray Vacancy Round of states after weeding out of candidates ALLOTTED in the Special Stray Vacancy Round of MCC, said the notification.

"For ensuring faithful obedience of time schedule and also keeping in view the limited time available for conducting counselling, all participating institutes/colleges are directed to treat all Saturdays/ Sundays and Gazetted Holidays as working days," added the official notification.

NEET 2023 was conducted on May 7 and the second phase of the exam was held on June 6 for Manipur candidates. NEET 2023 result was declared on June 13. NEET result 2023 was released by NTA in the form of a scorecard in PDF format.

Candidates who qualified for NEET 2023 were eligible to participate in the NEET counselling process, which was conducted at both state and national levels. Medical Counselling Committee conducts the national-level counselling for admission to the 15 per cent All India quota seats.
