NEET UG 2023 Registration, Application Form Link OUT Live Updates; Last date to apply April 13
Many NEET UG 2023 aspirants were demanding to reopen the application process for the exam. National Testing Agency (NTA) has now reopened the registration and application process. The NEET UG 2023 application form is available from April 11 and the NEET 2023 registration last date is April 13, 2023. The exam is all set to be held on May 7, 2023.
National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the NEET UG 2023 registration from April 11, 2023, to April 13, 2023, up to 11:59 pm. There was a huge demand to again open the window for aspirants to fill out the NEET 2023 application form. The last date for receiving fees online is April 13, 2023, up to 11:59 pm.
"Representations have been received from the candidates to open the registration window again for applying for NEET UG 2023 as they could not complete their registration due to various unavoidable reasons. In view of supporting the students' community, it has been decided to re-open the registration for receiving online application forms for NEET UG 2023," reads the NTA statement.

Aspirants demanded to reopen NEET UG 2023 registration
Many NEET UG 2023 aspirants, who could not apply for the exam, due to technical errors had written a letter to the National Testing Agency to demand to reopen of NEET 2023 application form.
As many as 239 aspirants had sent a joint letter to the NTA and requested the agency to reopen the registration process for NEET UG 2023 registration for 2-3 days. The students were also demanding this on Twitter under hashtag #extendneetregistration.
JEE-NEET Students Community tweet reads, "Today we have sent a joint letter to NTA with the data of 239 #NEETUG2023 aspirants. We sincerely hope that NTA will consider our plea and reopen the registration process for these deserving students. #extendneetregistration."
"Some students faced issues with non-receipt of OTP, while others faced payment failures or errors while uploading their documents. Additionally, there were also server down issues that further added to the problem. We believe that these students deserve an equal chance to write the NEET UG exam and hence request you to reopen the registration process," reads the students' letter.

NEET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Below mentioned are the basic or primary eligibility criteria for NEET UG 2023.
- Candidates must have attained the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will attain the same by December 31, 2023. Accordingly, the minimum date of birth of candidates should be December 31, 2006.
- Indian nationals/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) who wish to pursue MBBS/ BDS from a foreign university also have to qualify for NEET 2023.
- Candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects individually in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates belonging to the General category must have scored a minimum of 50 per cent in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Other Backward should have a minimum score of 40 per cent in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates who belong to the General category and are applying under the Persons with Disability (PWD) Quota, must have a minimum score of 45 per cent marks in the qualifying examination.

The NEET 2023 website or the NEET 2023 application window is still under maintenance. It is expected that the application forms or the registration window will be activated by late evening.

Date and Time to Apply for NEET 2023
NEET 2023 application process is open till April 13, 11.59 PM. The application form, as well as the application fee, has to be paid by 11.59 PM. In the original phase, the application window ended at 9 PM, whereas the fee could be paid till 11.50 PM. This created confusion among candidates who thought that the application process is open till 11.50 PM and missed the application deadline.

As per reports, over 21 lakh candidates have registered for NEET 2023 in the first phase of application, till April 6. It is expected that the number will reach around 25 lakh till April 13.

Category Certificates for NEET UG 2023 Application Form
Candidates belonging to the reserved category or to a particular category will have to upload the requisite category certificate. The list of applicable certificates is given below:

GEN-EWS certificate which should have been issued on or after April 1, 2022, in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India.

NEET 2023 Application Form Finger and Thumb Upload Guidelines
The guidelines for uploading the left-hand thumb impression are as follows:

The candidate should put Left and Right-hand Fingers and Thumb impressions as per the Template provided.

NEET 2023 Application Form Signature Upload Guidelines
The guidelines for uploading signatures on the NEET 2023 application form are as follows:

The scanned signature should be between 4 KB to 30 KB.

The file format should be JPG only.

The signature should be made on black ballpoint pen on white paper.

The signature should be made in running letters and not in full capital letters.

In case someone else’s signature has been uploaded, the candidature shall be cancelled and the case will be considered an Unfair Means Case. Criminal action as per the laws of the land shall also be initiated.

NEET 2023 Application Form Photo Upload Guidelines
NTA has specified the following guidelines to upload photographs. While selecting the photograph, one must ensure that the photo is fulfilling the following factors or guidelines:

Candidates’ faces should be clearly visible including 80 per cent of candidates’ faces and ears

Candidates should not click the photograph wearing caps or sunglasses or spectacles unless they wear them regularly

The photograph should be taken on or after January 1, 2023

The background of the photograph should be plain white

Polaroid and Computer-generated photos are not acceptable
-
The photograph need not be attested, however, the candidate’s name and date of taking the photo must appear below the image

Candidates may note that if the photographs uploaded are found to be fabricated i.e. de-shaped or seem to be hand-made or computer made, the application of the candidate will be rejected and the same would be considered as using Unfair Means and the candidate would be dealt with accordingly.

If someone else’s photographs have been uploaded, the candidature shall be cancelled and the case will be considered an Unfair Means Case. Criminal action as per the laws of the land shall also be initiated.

The same Passport size and Post Card size photographs are to be used for uploading with the online application Form and for pasting on Attendance Sheet at the Examination Centre / Counselling / Admission. Candidates are reminded to keep 6 to 8 passport size and 4 to 6 Post Card size (4”X6”) colour photographs with white backgrounds.

NEET 2023 Application Correction Window
NTA had conducted the NEET 2023 application correction process from April 8 to April 10, 11.50 PM. The application correction window had opened a couple of days after the conclusion of the application process. However, NTA has not mentioned whether application correction facility will be provided for the second phase of NEET 2023 application process (April 11 to April 13) or not. Hence, candidates must fill the form carefully as this is a one time facility offered by NTA.

Candidates who wish to apply for NEET 2023, must follow the steps given below:

- Register with personal details such as name, contact details, password, etc. to generate the application number and password.
