NEET UG 2024: All India Community of Victims of NTA Shares FAQ Concerning Results

The All India Community of Victims of NTA has shared several FAQs concerning the authenticity of NEET UG results 2024. Consequently, AISDA urges PM Narendra Modi to address the concerns of NEET UG aspirants. 

NEET UG 2024 FAQ

NEET UG 2024 Result Controversy:  All India Students Dental Association (AISDA) shared several queries from the All India Community of Victims of NTA concerning NEET UG 2024 results. The NEET UG 2024 controversy has raised major concerns right from the registration, exam centres, paper leak, and grace marks to name a few. Meanwhile, the All India Students Dental Association has requested PM Narendra Modi to address the following concerns of NEET UG aspirants. Q1. When and why the registration window was reopened for NEET UG 2024?

Ans- NEET UG registration window was reopened on April 9, 2024, for one day. A total of 24246 students were registered during the reopening period. However, NTA has not made reopening representations public. Experts believe sincere NEET aspirants will never miss the first registration window. A total of 2406079 medical aspirants registered for the NEET UG exam 2024. 

Q2. Was there any breach in the custody of paper?

Ans- Yes, an FIR registered in the Shashtri Nagar Patna clearly mentioned that there was a breach in the custody of the NEET paper. Students paid INR 25 lakh and got the NEET 2024 question paper on May 4, a night before the NEET UG exam. The culprit confessed to the police that they got the same paper in the examination.

Q3. What investigation was done by the Economic Offense Unit of Bihar?

Ans- Reportedly, the Economic Offense Unit of Bihar could not investigate because the National Testing Agency (NTA) did not provide them with the original NEET UG question paper and data of 11 students including 6 girl students.

Q4. What happened in Panchmahal, Godhara, Gujrat?

Ans. 16 students from Jharkhand and Karnataka were allotted NEET 2024 exam centres in Panchmahal Godhara. The principal of the centre, parents and some of the students are still under arrest because allotment of exam centres in a state other than their home state is not conceivable.

Q5. Had NTA disclosed the provision of grace marks in the information brochure?

Ans. - No, there was no mention of any provision of grace marks in any information brochure or press release/public notice. NTA notified about NEET UG grace marks when some students scored 718 & 719 marks in NEET 2024 results. 

Q6. Has NTA mentioned regarding grace marks because of alleged time loss at centres?

Ans. No, it was never disclosed to students after the exam. The information was shared on June 5 through the Twitter handle of NTA.

Q7. How many grace marks are given to students?

Ans.- NTA has not revealed the exact grace marks given to students but according to social media reports one student whose original score was 635 has scored 720 after grace marks.

Q8. Is it common for a student to score 705 in NEET but fail in board exams?

Ans. According to prominent teachers, this is very unusual because the difficulty level of NEET is higher than the board exam. 

Q9. What happened in Balod, Bilaspur centre?

Ans. 405 students of this centre were given the wrong set of papers which was taken back after 35 minutes. Students have complained to DM and the court as well, but as of this moment, their problems have not been resolved. They continue to fight for justice. There were no bonus points awarded for tardiness. The local government delivered the entire report to NTA, Panchnama, right after the document was completed.

Q10. What happened in Sawai Madhopur Rajasthan?

Ans.- Hindi-medium students received NEET UG 2024 question paper in English-medium. They were not allowed to leave the premises when they protested. On exam day, students were compelled to leave at around 4 PM with their papers, and the papers were posted on social media while the exam was still ongoing. After the main exam ended, some students took another exam that same day.
