NEET UG 2024 registration likely from January; Know Details

NEET UG 2024 registration: Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official website of NTA - nta.ac.in to not miss any updates related to NEET UG 2024 exam which is scheduled to be held on May 5, 2024. NEET UG 2024 registration is expected to commence in January 2024.

NTA has announced the NEET UG 2024 exam will be held on May 5, 2024, and the schedule of the rest of the events related to the exam is yet to be announced by NTA. The NEET UG 2024 result will be declared by the second week of June 2024, said NTA. Moreover, NTA is expected to release a rationalised syllabus for the NEET UG 2024 this week based on inputs taken from the National Medical Commission.

NEET UG 2024: More Details

The total registration for 2023 was 20,87,000, this year also it is expected that more than 20 lakh students will apply for the national medical entrance exam. The NEET UG 2024 exam will be held in Paper Pencil Based Test (PBT) mode for admission to MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, BAMS, BVSC & AH courses. The exam fee will be INR 1,700 for the General category, INR 1,600 for OBC, INR 1,000 for Reserved category candidates, and INR 9,500 for Foreign nationals. The NTA's marking scheme for NEET UG 2024 includes +4 marks for each correct answer and -1 for each incorrect answer. The exam will be held in English, Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, Assamese, Gujarati, Marathi, Odia, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Punjabi and Telugu languages.
