NEET UG Counselling 2022: MCC releases list of candidates joined in rounds 1 & 2
MCC has released the list of candidates who have joined in round 1 and round 2 of AIQ, Deemed and Central Universities.
The MCC's notification reads, "It is for the information to the DMEs/ State Counselling Authorities of all the states that the following is the list of candidates joined in Round-1 & Round-2 of All India Quota, Deemed and Central Universities in MBBS/ BDS/ B.Sc Nursing Courses."
"It is to be noted that candidates who join their seats of Round-2 allotted by MCC of DGHS will not be able to resign from their seat and candidates will not be eligible to participate in any further rounds of counselling in compliance with the directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated 09-05-2017 passed in W.P No. 267 of 2017 Dar-Us- Slam Educational Trust Vs. MCI & Ors. and W.P(C) No. 820 of 2021 Snigda Leo Vs. MCC & Anr," added the notification.
A few days ago, MCC informed that nearly 43 candidates have joined seats in round 1 or round 2 of All India counselling conducted by MCC of DGHS as well as in the state counselling conducted by state counselling authorities. The committee had directed these candidates to resign their seats joined through state counselling by November 17 failing which their names would be removed from the All India Quota joined candidate's data of MCC of DGHS and they will have no claim on their joined seat.
