NMC again extends deadline to submit MBBS data by medical colleges to Jan 16

NMC said that despite giving sufficient time to the medical colleges, they have not uploaded the data of MBBS 1st year admissions, now the commission has once again extended the last date to January 16, 2023.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) had extended the deadline for submission of online information related to admissions in medical colleges for the MBBS degree in the Academic Year 2022-23 from December 31, 2022, to January 10, 2023. Now, the commission has once again given a time limit of January 16, 2023, for filling in the data.

NMC said that sufficient time was given for this but the colleges are yet to upload the information and this may entail difficulties in future.

"The last date for uploading said data was initially fixed as December 31, 2022, which was subsquently extended upto January 10, 2023. Despite giving sufficient time your medical colleges have not yet uploaded the data/details of the students enrolled for MBBS degree for the academic year 2023. Non-uploading of data on the online format may entail difficulties in future," reads NMC's official notification.

The deadline has been extended as a one-time measure and the commission has once again requested the institutes to upload the said data on the NMC portal latest by January 16, 2023.

"In case the data is not uploaded by the target date, the concerned colleges will be held responsible for any litigation or complication that arises at a later stage," added NMC.

"In case of any difficulty in accessing NMC website or in data entry, an email may be sent to support.ugmonitoring@nmc.org.in or contact at our toll free number 1800 11 11 54 (from 9:30 am to 6 pm) and the NMC office shall revert immediately to resolve the query/issue," further added the official statement.
