NMC Extends Annual Declaration Submission Last Date for Medical Colleges

National Medical Council (NMC) has extended the annual declaration submission last date for all medical colleges across the country. The council has extended the last date to submit annual declaration details on the NMC portal, as required under NMC Act 2019 along with several other regulations, till April 10, 2024. 

Through a public notice, the National Medical Council announces the extension of the last date along with prescribed fees including GST on the NMC portal. The medical colleges/ institutes shall pay the requisite fees of Rs 3,54,000 (including 18% GST) in online mode to ask permission for UG course admission for the academic session 2024-25. The annual declaration is mandatory for all medical colleges to apply for renewal of permission for MBBS seats at their respective institutes.

Earlier, the last date for annual declaration details was March 31, 2024, which has been extended to April 10, 2024, through the latest notification. 

As reported by Medical Dialogues, the institutes can take help in case of any technical queries or support, through the official web support email of NMC. The notice has been issued complying with the approval of the competent authority i.e. National Medical Commission. 

"No seats will be allowed to any medical college who fails to submit the annual declaration before the stipulated time", the notice further added. 

Moreover, NMC has recently issued a list of fresh colleges which applied for new PG courses from the academic year 2024-25. At present, a list of 1286 online PG Medical course applications has been released by the National Medical Commission.
