NMC Further Processes Applications to Increase PG Seats; List Down New Courses in 16 Medical Colleges
The Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) of NMC, through an additional notification, has processed 68 more applications to increase PG medical seats for the academic year 2024-25 in 16 medical institutes.
The Medical Assessment and Rating Board of the National Medical Council (NMC) has notified regarding 68 further online applications to increase PG medical seats. These seats will be initiated for 16 medical colleges/institutes for the academic year 2024-25. The authorities, in its earlier notifications, have notified about increasing 119 and 209 NEET PG seats in several medical institutes.
"The communication with respect to the increase in PG Medical seats for the academic session 2024-25 has been sent through email IDs to the medical institutes concerned for information and necessary action by them within the stipulated timeline." The notification added.
Previously the Medical Assessment & Rating Board (MARB) has sent emails in different phases for 1607 online PG medical course applications. The communication, along with necessary actions, includes a stipulated timeline for the same.
"It may be recalled that public notice dated March 11, 12, 15, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29 and 31, it was informed that communications in respect of 238 + 214 + 202 + 218 + 205 + 209 + 102 + 100 + 119 = 1607 online PG Medical course applications had already been sent through the email IDs" The notification further added.
Meanwhile, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has previously notified regarding communication made to medical colleges and informed them about deficient documents and information to be provided by them for authentication purposes.
