NMC invites applications from retired Government Officers/Employees for Consultant posts

NMC has invited applications from retired Government Officers/Employees for Consultant posts on a contractual full-time basis. The tenure will be initially one year which is extendable for further periods subject to satisfactory performance. The job location will be NMC's office in Dwarka, phase 1, New Delhi.

National Medical Commission (NMC) invited applications from eligible and desirous candidates who retired from Government Service and have considerable experience in the functioning of Government/Ministries/Departments for engagement as Consultants on a contractual full-time basis.

The Consultant posts are available in various departments of NMC including Accounts, Legal, IT, and Hindi. The initial tenure of engagement will be one year, which can be extended further subject to satisfactory performance.

The age should be less than 64 years as of the closing date of this circular. Officers due for retirement in the month of January 2023 are also eligible to apply.

The applications will be shortlisted on the basis of experience and qualifications and the candidates will be selected for the post of Consultants on an Interview basis from the shortlisted candidates.

The remuneration will be the last pay drawn minus pension plus transport allowance in accordance with the instructions of the Government of India issued from time to time. The Consultants will be entitled to Transport Allowance.

Working hours will be normal office timings from 9:30 am to 6 pm but the post/nature of duties requires monitoring/follow-up beyond office hours. Consultants may be required to Work from Home beyond office hours, and may also be required to attend office on holidays depending on the exigencies of work.
