NMC releases advisory concerning FMGE Eligibility Certificate

NMC has released an advisory for FMGE candidates and informed them of the last date for fixing any deficiency in the documents submitted for getting FMGE certificates, which is November 30, 2021.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has recently released an official notice to inform the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) candidates about the last date for rectifying the documents related to eligibility certificate/ admission letter, proof of possessing Primary Medical Qualification is November 30, 2021.

The last date for applying for issuance of the FMGE Eligibility Certificate was October 22, 2021. The FMGE eligibility certificate from NMC is required for appearing in the FMGE Screening Test. The conducting body for FMGE is the National Board of Examination (NBE). The candidates are required to submit the FMGE eligibility certificate to the NBE before appearing for the FMGE screening test, which is scheduled to be held on December 12.

NMC notification reads, "It is informed that all the applications which pending with the EMRB and have been submitted online by the candidate to the EMRB by the closing date 22.10.2021 are being scrutinized and those that are found to be in order with all the required documents, will be issued eligibility certificate before the last date of submission to National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences as per notification."

"In respect of applications found to be deficient, the applicants will be notified by email on their registered email id about the same. All the candidates are advised to regularly check their email and login portal on NMC website for any deficiencies that have been noted in their applications. Deficiencies, if any, should be rectified latest within three days of the receipt of mail positively and no later than 15.11.2021 in any case, failing which their applications will be rejected, " the letter added.

NMC also informed the candidates that those who have already resubmitted documents after rectifications will also be dealt in the same manner. If even after resubmission, the deficiencies still persist, the application will be rejected without giving any reason.
