More than 20 lakh aspirants appeared in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET 2023) exam which was held on May 7, 2023. Now, National Testing Agency is expected to release the NEET answer key 2023, OMR sheets and NEET 2023 results anytime on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. 

NEET answer key 2023 is crucial for candidates waiting for their results as they can calculate their scores by comparing their answers with the answer key released by the NTA. The candidates can know their expected score in NEET 2023 exam using the NEET answer key 2023.

How to calculate scores from NEET answer key 2023

Once the answer key is released on the official website, the candidates will be able to download it. To calculate the score, the candidates must follow the NEET UG marking scheme. As per the marking scheme, four marks get added for each correct answer and one gets deducted for each incorrect answer. Questions with multiple correct answers or unanswered questions will receive zero marks.

This year, students' associations are also demanding to conduct NEET UG 2023 second attempt so that the aspirants can get more chances to secure the desired seats. The associations have written to the Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh and Bihar and requested them to recommend a second attempt of NEET UG 2023 to the Centre. Also, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights submitted a representation to the National Testing Agency and requested the agency to conduct the NEET UG exam twice a year to ease the high-stress level of the aspirants.
