According to the official notification for conducting Odisha NEET 2020 counselling, “the vacant seats available in different colleges will be announced on the official website at www.ojee.nic.in in due time along with time schedule for reporting of candidates.”

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) cell is all set to conduct the spot counselling of Odisha NEET 2020 counselling on January 19, 2021, and January 20, 2021. The counselling round is being conducted for admission into vacancy seats of MBBS/BDS courses. According to the official notification for conducting Odisha NEET 2020 counselling, “the vacant seats available in different colleges will be announced on the official website at www.ojee.nic.in in due time along with time schedule for reporting of candidates.” In order to be eligible to participate in spot counselling, candidates must be listed in the state merit list of MBBS/BDS courses. To take part in the Odisha Neet 2020 Spot Counselling, interested candidates must report at the counselling centre according to the date and time mentioned against their rank/merit.

Guidelines for Odisha NEET 2020 Spot Counselling 

Candidates applying for spot counselling of Odisha NEET 2020 must go through the guidelines listed below: 

  • Selection of candidates during Odisha NEET 2020 Admission will be strictly based on the merit of the candidates.
  • In order to participate in the Odisha NEET spot counselling 2020, candidates need to physically report to the college for participating.
  • At the counselling venue, candidates have to put their signature in an attendance sheet at the sitting hall.
  • Students arriving after the scheduled time will be allotted a seat/college from the balance seats available at that point of time taking merit into consideration.
  • Provisional Admission will be done at the spot counselling venue. Students who have not taken locked a seat in earlier rounds should come with all original documents such as ID proof, HS / Birth certificate, +2 Mark Sheet, +2 Pass Certificate, Residential/Nativity Certificate, CLC/Transfer Certificate etc, along with admission fees, failing which admission will be cancelled and the seat will be allotted to next candidate as per the merit list.
  • Aspirants who have already taken admission in earlier rounds, but are taking part in this round and getting upgraded, should pay the admission fees only if required. Thus they shall have to pay the differential fees or will get the refund of the differential fees as the case may be while modifying the course or college. 
  • Candidates should note after taking admission in any category in this round, will not be permitted for any further change. Candidates who have allotted a seat in the previous round allotment, are not permitted to change the category in the same institution during spot admission.
  • The candidates who have sought admission in 15% All India quota seats/ MCC/ Deemed Universities pursuant to the second round of counselling held by the DGHS shall not be eligible for spot counselling. 
  • After allotting all the vacant seats, counselling will be announced as closed. Further, participation in spot counselling does not confirm admission. Seats are allotted based on the merit and availability of vacancy.
