Odisha NEET 2023 Counselling Application Process Begins at ojee.nic.in; Apply by July 16
Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has started the registration process for the Odisha NEET 2023 counselling process on July 12. The last date to register or apply for the MBBS/BDS admission process in Odisha for the academic year 2023-24 is July 16. Know the details here.
Odisha NEET counselling 2023 application process has been commenced by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) on July 12. The last date to apply is July 16, 11.59 PM. The application process is completely online. Only those candidates who appeared and qualified for NEET 2023 will be eligible to apply and participate in the Odisha NEET 2023 counselling process. OJEE has stated that only Odisha domicile candidates can participate in the state counselling process and candidates from other states can apply under the NRI quota.
Eligibility Criteria to Participate in OJEE NEET 2023 Counselling

Candidates must be of 17 years of age as of 31.12.2023 and there will be no upper age limit.

Candidates must be permanent natives of Odisha, OR Children of All India Civil Service officers serving in the state of Odisha cadre.

Candidates must have passed Class 12 Board exam in Science stream and in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have secured a minimum of 50 per cent marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology at Class 12 Science level for General Candidate (GE), 40 per cent for SC/ST candidates and 45 per cent for benchmark disability candidates (PC-GE). The required mark for Physically Challenged candidate of SC/ST category is 40 per cent.

Eligibility Criteria for NRI Candidates:
The eligibility criteria for NRI candidates to participate in the OJEE NEET 2023 counselling process are given below:
1. The NRI candidates, who have qualified the NEET UG 2023, are eligible.
2. NRI means the children or wards of a person of Indian origin residing outside India. Such candidates have to submit the following documents in support of NRI.
i. Documents claiming that the sponsorer is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsorer)
ii. Relation of NRI with the candidate
iii. Affidavit from the sponsorer that he/ She will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized.
iv. Embassy Certificate of the Sponsorer (Certificate from the Consulate).

OJEE will release the detailed procedure and schedule for Odisha NEET 2023 counselling soon. There are approximately 3,000 MBBS/BDS seats in the state. There will be three rounds of Odisha NEET counselling. Additional rounds of counselling will be conducted based on the number of vacant seats.
