Rajasthan's Foreign Medical Graduates to go on strike from today

Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) of Rajasthan are starting a strike today against limited counselling seats for these students, which causes difficulty for them to do the internships in India.

The doctors have called for a strike and asked all FMGs of the state to join in large numbers to make this strike noticeable. As per these doctors, they should get a fair chance as it is their right to do internships.

The medicos are also raising their voices on the social media platform Twitter, here are some related tweets:

"Rajasthan medical council system has been crashed they are unable to allot internship seats to fmgs. Kindly look into this matter," says one of the tweets.

"#we want justice #AIMSA requests Rajasthan Govt to consider FMG graduate's demands at the earliest otherwise #AIMSA will launch statewide agitation for justice for #FMG Graduates. @ashokgehlot51 @RajCMO @plmeenaINC #justiceforfmgeofrajasthan," tweeted Dr Jitendra Singh, National President of All India Medical Students' Association.

"Denied foreign medical graduate internship. 966 foreign medical graduates are not getting seats for internship. 2 months have passed since the result of the examination, but no hearing," reads another tweet.

" I want to draw your attention towards the crisis through which FMG's are going. National medical commission has allotted 2005 seats for FMGE in Rajsthan but recently councelling was held only on 399 seats," says a tweet.
