Students urge education ministry to give clarity on NEET 2021 Syllabus

The education ministry’s decision contradicted Mr Pokhriyal’s statement leaving the medical aspirant confused about the new NEET 2021 syllabus.
The Ministry of Education on January 19 made an official announcement that NEET 2021 syllabus will remain unchanged for the academic year 2021. The decision also added that unlike previous years, students will be given a choice to answer the questions of NEET 2021. The medical entrance test will offer candidates 20% more questions to choose from to make up for the learning losses of last year. However, on January 18, while interacting during a live webinar Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' said that "The students will only have to study the revised syllabus for their CBSE board exams, while for NEET 2021, questions will be asked from the reduced syllabi." The education ministry’s decision contradicted Mr Pokhriyal’s statement leaving the medical aspirant confused about the new NEET 2021 syllabus.
Now, the students are demanding the authorities to clarify the new syllabus of NEET 2021 soon along with the new pattern to attempt the medical entrance test. So far, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has not released any notice regarding the new syllabus of NEET 2021. However, it is expected that the new NEET exam pattern will be released soon.
