Supreme Court Dismisses Plea Alleging Discrepancies in NEET PG 2022 Exam Answer Key
Supreme Court vacation bench of Justices Vikram Nath and Ahsanuddin Amanullah dismissed the petition alleging discrepancy in NEET PG 2022 exam and mismatch in NEET PG 2022 scores.
Apex court has rejected the petition challenging the alleged discrepancies in the NEET PG 2022 answer key and dismissed the disclosure of the answer sheet on the grounds of extending the matter unnecessarily. The vacation bench consisting of Justices Vikram Nath and Ahsanuddin Amanullah dismissed the plea on June 11.
"These petitions are rendered infructuous due to the passage of time. In case the petitioners still have a grievance with respect to the NEET examination of Undergraduate or Post-Graduate held in the year 2024, they may assail it on admissible grounds. These petitions are accordingly dismissed." The bench said.
Meanwhile, the petitioner claimed that the National Board of Examination have refrained from accessing the answer key, question paper and answer sheet of NEET PG 2022.
"The trouble is they (National Board of Examination) are not allowing us access to answer keys, answer sheets, and question papers of NEET PG 2022. The petitioners are still going to appear this time." Advocate Avani Bansal submitted the petition, as reported by India Today.
Bench Denied Plea Against NEET PG 2022 Scores
Pritish Kumar and others had submitted the plea, claiming that the NBE was refusing to allow re-evaluation and that there were discrepancies in their NEET PG 2022 scores. However, the bench denied the appeal, stating that it could not be postponed "unnecessarily."
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Post Graduate (NEET-PG) examination is conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE) for admissions in various PG courses after the students complete MBBS, BDS and other equivalent courses.
