Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 Seat Resignation Window Closes Today; Know Details Not to Miss

Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 resignation portal for PG MD/ MS Diploma/ DNB courses will conclude today i.e. January 28, 2025, at 5 PM. Students willing to vacate their previously allotted seats can vacate their seats without forfeiture of the security deposit and tuition fee. 

Tamil Nadu NEET PG Counselling 2024 Seat Resignation

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) will conclude the Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 seat resignation process for PG MD/ MS Diploma/ DNB courses today i.e. January 28, 2025. Students who wish to vacate their previously allotted seats can apply for resignation by 5 PM today.

However, students are suggested to not wait for the deadline and complete the seat surrender process at the earliest possible to get a refund of security fee. Students who complete the seat surrender process before the aforesaid deadline will be eligible for resignation without forfeiture of the security deposit and tuition fee. 

TN NEET PG Counselling 2024: Instruction for Seat Resignation

The authorities have notified certain guidelines for students who wish to vacate their allotted seats: 

1. Students who wish to resign their allotted seat of round 1 and round 2 counselling be mindful of the date and time as notified by the authorities. 

2. The seat resignation process is entirely online and students have to download the resignation letter and submit the same to the allotted college. 

3. Students are strictly instructed not to withdraw their resignation after the stipulated period. 

4. Candidates who consent to re-allotment and participate in Round 3 (MOPUP) counselling will be subject to the rules of Round 3, as they have made choices and joined the process.

5. The deadline for discontinuation is January 29, 2025. After this date, a discontinuation fee will be charged.
