Telangana NEET PG 2024 Counselling Delayed; Candidates Appeal to CM Over 'Injustice'

While two rounds of All India Quota (AIQ) NEET PG 2024 counselling have been successfully completed by MCC, KNRUHS has yet to release its merit list for Telangana NEET PG counselling 2024. 

Telangana NEET PG Counselling 2024

Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) is yet to release the Telangana NEET PG merit list 2024 for admission to the MD, MS programmes. The authorities concluded the counselling registration on November 7 for government quota seats while the counselling registration process for management quota seats concluded on November 17, 2024. Despite the timely closure of the registration process, KNRUHS is yet to release the merit list including the names and details of qualifying candidates at the official website. 

Where two rounds of All India Quota (AIQ) counselling have already been completed, the Telangana NEET PG merit list 2024 announcement date is yet to be notified. Generally, AIQ and state counselling process run simultaneously to enable students to have the option for choice filling process. Due to the delayed Telangana NEET PG 2024 counselling process, the coordination between MCC and state counselling has been disrupted. 

Telangana NEET PG Counselling 2024: Students Raised Concerns 

The delay in Telangana NEET PG counselling 2024 has made students anxious about their admissions. Several NEET PG students have written a letter to the Chief Minister, the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), and the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) seeking their intervention in the matter. 

The letter revolves around the delay in decision-making, procedural inefficiencies of the counselling body and the missed opportunity during the counselling process. The students have raised that the unavailability of the Telangana state merit list and clarity on eligibility for state round 1 needs to be addressed. Further, the students have requested MCC and NMC to postpone the AIQ round 3 counselling process.
