Telangana sanctions 33 posts under Director of Public Health & Family Welfare

To improve the public health care sector in GHMC, the Telangana government has sanctioned as many as 33 posts, under the Director of Public Health & Family Welfare including five DMHO posts.

Telangana government, under the directions of Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao, sanctioned for upgradation of 1266 posts of Office Subordinate as Junior Assistant in all Districts for the purpose of compassionate appointments.

Additionally, the creation of 33 posts, under the Director of Public Health & Family Welfare has been sanctioned including five DMHO posts to strengthen the public health care sector in GHMC.

The government order in this regard says that they noticed that a large number of applications are pending for providing employment to the dependents of deceased government employees in the districts under the scheme of compassionate appointments.

After careful consideration, the government has decided to upgrade the required number of existing vacancies of office subordinates as Junior Assistant on a Supernumerary basis, for the purpose of considering pending applications for appointment on compassionate grounds, to mitigate the hardship of the dependents of the deceased government employees.

"Accordingly, government hereby accord sanction for upgradation of twelve hundred and sixty six (1266) vacant posts of office subordinate as Junior Assistant on Supernumerary basis in all districts as mentioned in the appendix to this order, for the purpose of compassionate appointment in the districts, with the condition that these Supernumerary posts shall lapse as and when regular vacancies arise in the concerned department in the district in future," reads the official notification.
