Tripura NEET 2024 Counselling Round 1 Merit List Released; Choice Filling Ends Tomorrow
The Tripura NEET 2024 counselling Round 1 provisional merit list of the registered candidates has been released by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Tripura. The choice filling process is underway and the last date is August 27, 2024, 12 noon.
As many as 659 candidates have been included in the Tripura domicile and 89 are non-domicile candidates. Regarding the candidate category, DME Tripura has notified the following:
- Candidates whose EWS certificate is not mentioning the financial year as 2023-24 are treated as UR.
- Candidates whose OBC certificate does not specify "Non-Creamy Layer" are treated as UR.
- Candidates who have not submitted OBC certificates are treated as UR.
- Candidates whose PwD certificate is not as per MCC norms are treated according to their parent category.
- Candidates whose WESM certificate is not valid are treated according to their parent category.

How to Fill Choices for Tripura NEET 2024 Counselling Round 1
Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to fill and lock choices for the Tripura NEET 2024 counselling.
- Visit the official website of Tripura NEET Counselling 2024 – dmeonline.tripura.gov.in
- Login by entering the User ID and Password
- Click on the choice filling tab
- Enter seat choices in preferential order and lock those
- Submit the final seat choices
The seat allotment result for the Tripura NEET 2024 counselling Round 1 will be declared on August 29, 2024.

The Tripura NEET counselling document verification process is conducted offline. Candidates will have to visit the allotted institutes for document verification and admission fee payment. This will confirm the admission process. DME Tripura will specify the venue for the document verification or institute reporting process after the seat allotment result is declared for each round. They will either have to report to the allotted institutes, or have to visit the venue mentioned by the counselling authority for Tripura NEET counselling.

Yes, it is mandatory to carry the original documents at the institute reporting process of the Tripura NEET UG counselling process. Although candidates can carry the photocopies as a backup, but during document verification, or the institute reporting process, they will have to present the original documents.
