According to an official statement released by the doctors demanding justice, “on April 6, 2023 some attendants of a patient verbally and physically abused and threatened the junior doctors of surgery department including female resident. The culprits were handed over to the police after that incident. But then in order to save them around 10-15 goons came over there after couple of hours and physically abused our juniors residents who were passing by and even took them at gun point with an intention to shoot them. Seeing the mob of other fellow residents to save there collegues, those goons flew away.”
