UP NEET MDS Counselling 2024

Uttar Pradesh Director General, Medical Education (UPDGME) has announced the UP NEET MDS round 3 counselling schedule 2024. As per the dates, the round 3 UP NEET MDS counselling registration 2024 will be ongoing between August 21 to August 23, 2024. However, students are suggested not to wait for the UP NEET MDS counselling registration last date 2024 and apply at the earliest as soon as the registration process opens. The UP NEET MDS round 3 counselling registration link will be activated at upneet.gov.in and dgme.up.gov.in.

What After UP NEET MDS Counselling Registration 2024? 

Students who will complete the UP NEET MDS counselling registration 2024 before the deadline will be able to check the merit list on August 24, 2024. Further, those who will be named in UP NEET MDS round 3 merit list 2024 will be able to participate in the choice filling and locking process between August 24 to 27, 2024. Subsequently, the UP NEET MDS round 3 seat allotment result 2024 will be out on August 27, 2024

Q: Β  How many choices can I fill during NEET MDS counselling?

A:

There is no limit on the number of choices that a candidate can fill during the counselling of NEET MDS. These choices, however, should be in the order of preference as desired by the candidate. It must be noted choices have to be locked in the given deadline other it gets automatically locked. Candidates are advised to fill choices carefully as it can't be modified once the timeframe ends. Seats will be allotted based on choice declared by candidates and other factors. Total four rounds of NEET MDS counselling is held for allotment of 50% All India quota seats.

Q: Β  What will be the venue for NEET MDS 2024 counselling?

A:

NEET MDS counselling 2024 is being conducted online. Candidates participating in the counselling of NEET MDS 2024 had to register on the official website of MCC to attend it. Candidates qualifying for NEET MDS 2024 with the minimum cut off is one of the eligiblity criteria to participate in the counselling rounds. The counselling proess began on July 1, 2024. Registered candidates could exercise choices for college and course for NEET MDS 2024 seat allotment. MCC released seat allotment result based on choice declared, availablity of seats in college and course, reservation factor etc.

 

Q: Β  What documents are needed during reporting for NEET MDS counselling?

A:

Candidates need to report to allotted college/institute for document verification. They have to carry following documents in original:

  • NEET MDS result 2024 or scorecard
  • NEET MDS Admit Card 2024
  • BDS degree certificate
  • BDS marksheets
  • Internship Completion Certificate (stating that the candidate has completed his/ her internship on or before June 30, 2024)
  • Registration Certificate from the Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council (SDC) 
  • Birth Certificate or class 10 marksheet
  • Photo Id proof (PAN card/ Driving Licence/ Voter ID/ Aadhaar card/ Passport)
  • Caste Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC, if applicable)
  • Disability Certificate issued by the medical board (if applicable)

Q: Β  What documents are required at the time of online registration and choice filling for NEET MDS counselling?

A:

Candidates filling the registration form of NEET MDS 2024 counselling are required to keep their application form and admit card handy. These details will have to be filled in the registration form as well. Candidates are advised to read the information brochure for NEET MDS counselling carefully before making registration online. Candidates will have to register on the official website, mcc.nic.in and declare choice for college and course for NEET MDS 2024 counselling. The counselling dates will be released tentatively in the first week of May 2024. 

Q: Β  I forgot to lock my choices for NEET MDS counselling. Will I get a seat?

A:

Choice filling in the given deadline is mandatory for seat allotment. If you have filled in the choices and saved them, they will be considered during the seat allotment process. However, if you haven't filled in the choices, you will have to wait till the next round of NEET MDS counselling 2024. Candidates do have to declare choice for college and course in the given timeframe. They also have to lock the choice otherwise it gets automatically locked after the deadline and candidates can't modify them. Seats will be allotted in different counselling rounds based on choice declaration, availability of seats in particular college and course, reservation factor etc.
