West Bengal NEET PG counselling schedule 2024 after the reduced cutoff, which was recently released on the official website wbmcc.nic.in, has been postponed. The revised counselling dates will be announced soon.

WB NEET PG Revised Counselling Dates 2025 Postponed

West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has postponed the WB NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule after revised cutoff. The authorities recently released the West Bengal NEET PG revised schedule on the official website wbmcc.nic.in for students willing to get admission in MD/ MS/ DNB Degree/ Diploma courses at state quota, private management quota or NRI quota seats. 

The counselling schedule which included the online registration, choice filling and seat allotment date for the academic session 2024-25, has been postponed and the authorities have notified that the updated schedule will be released in due course. 

Previously, the authorities postponed the round 3 counselling registration process, which was scheduled to be conducted between January 7 and 8, 2025, due to NEET PG 2024 cutoff reduction by MCC.

WB NEET PG Counselling 2024: Round 3 Schedule Postponed

After a delay of over a week, the authorities released the WB NEET PG revised counselling dates 2024 for the round 3 PG medical admission process and notified the commencement of registration from January 18, 2025 onwards. However, the authorities have, at present, notified that the revised counselling dates have been postponed and an updated schedule will be released soon. 

MCC Extends NEET PG 2024 Round 3 Registration Last Date 

Meanwhile, MCC has extended the NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule for the round 3 process. As per the revised dates, the round 3 registration process has been extended till January 19, 2025, and the choice filling and locking deadline has been extended till January 20, 2025.

Q:   How many rounds of counselling will be organized by the WBMCC for West Bengal NEET PG counselling?

West Bengal Medical Counseling Committee (WBMCC) of Dept of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal will organize four rounds of counselling such as Round-1, Round-2, Mop-up round, and stray vacancy round. There is no caste reservation. The counselling of West Bengal PG medical admission 2024 will be conducted for admission to the 50% state quota seats of MD/MS/MDS and postgraduate Diploma courses offered by the institutes in West Bengal.

To participate in WB NEET PG counselling, individual eligible and qualified candidate can do Online Registration and follow the process mentioned below:

  • Fill out online application 
  • Online Fee Payment 
  • Candidate Profile letter generation 
  • Physical document verification at verification venue mentioned in the candidate profile letter (Swasthya Bhavan for NRI candidates only) as designated by NIC software 
  • Publication of successfully verified list
  • Exercise Choice filling and Choice locking
  • Participate in Seat allotment by the Software as per Inter se merit
  • Another Round of Physical Document Verification at the Allotted College Level
  • Admission at the Allotted College Level, during Round 1 of the Counseling.
