With the rising number of novel coronavirus cases in India, many examination have been postponed by the respective authorities. This leaves those appearing for NEET 2020 wondering if the examination will be conducted on May 3. When asked about the rescheduling of NEET 2020, the MHRD said that the decision will be taken after accessing the situation of novel coronavirus spread in India during that period. For now, NEET 2020 will be held on the scheduled date.

NEET 2020: Number of Applicants
NEET is the only medical entrance test in India for admission to the undergraduate courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BHMS. Hence, large number of candidates apply for NEET every year. For NEET 2020, a total of 15,93,452 candidates have registered online. Out of these many 33,357 are from Jammu and Kashmir alone.
NEET 2020: Next Important Event and Significance
The next important event for NEET 2020 is the release of the admit card. NEET 2020 admit card is expected to be released on March 27. The admit card of NEET 2020 will be released online and the applicants will have to log in to their registered accounts on the official website to download it.
NEET admit card is a very important document and must be retained until the admission process is over. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the examination without the admit card of NEET 2020. Also, those who qualify the examination will have to present the NEET 2020 admit card during the counselling process for confirmation of their admission.
