The Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FORDA)’s president had a meeting with Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Health Minister, on December 6, 2021, to expedite NEET PG 2021 Counselling.

Amid the ongoing nationwide protest of the resident doctors to expedite National Eligibility, cum Entrance Test (NEET)-PG counselling 2021, the Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FORDA)’s president had a meeting with Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Health Minister, on December 6, 2021.

FORDA INDIA tweet on December 6, 2021, reads, "#PressRelease: A #FORDA delegation led by President, #FORDA had a meeting today with Hon’ble @mansukhmandviya Sir. The agitation will continue & a virtual meeting will be held with State #RDAs today, 6:30 p.m onwards, to decide the future course of action."

As per FORDA's official press release, the Health Minister has assured the doctors that the Ministry of Health & Family Minister (MoHFW) will get the case mentioned in the Supreme Court for an early hearing and also will try to get the NEET PG 2021 Counselling delinked with the Reservation Policy to expedite the process.

The press release added, "He, however, informed that since the matter is sub judice, he is unable to give any official statement or assurance in public domain & asked the Delegation to call off the agitation based on the verbal assurance. The Delegation informed Hon'ble Health Minister that the agitation will continue and the future course of action will be decided following a virtual meeting with State Resident Doctors' Association (RDA) representatives to be held today (6/12/2021), 6:30 PM onwards."
