The annual performance rating of all institutes and universities is declared by the Institution’s Innovation Council (Ministry of Education Initiative) every year based on performance of institutes in innovation activities.
The Institution Innovation Council of Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology (IIC-MSIT) has received four-star rating given by Institution’s Innovation Council, Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (Government of India) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for it’s excellent performance in innovation activities in 2020-21.
The result was declared on December 1. Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology is among the top 20 institutes/universities of eastern India.
As per a report published in The Telegraph, “All stakeholders of the institute are overwhelmed with the success of the IIC of MSIT. The achievement has been the outcome of hard work by the cell along with all our students and faculty members and our alumni across the globe who had been the pillar behind this success,” said Ankur Ganguly, principal, MSIT.
The annual performance rating of all institutes and universities is declared by the Institution's Innovation Council (Ministry of Education Initiative) every year based on performance of IICs of them. And the score of IIC-MSIT is 94.17/100, the report added.
Ganguly said, “The institute is gearing up for the next year so that we can retain this success. Innovation is an ongoing process and dedicated students along with their teacher mentors are working hard so that we can take MSIT to the global innovation platform.”
