MHCET Law 2022 counselling process is expected to start anytime soon as CET Cell Mumbai has opened CAP portal for various other courses. Check details here.

The Maharashtra CET Cell, Mumbai will begin the counselling process of MHCET Law 2022 anytime soon. The exam authority will also be publishing counselling schedule and CAP details on the website - cetcell.mahacet.org. All the qualified candidates should know for MHCET Law 2022 counselling process beforehand. Here are the details related to MHCET Law 2022 counselling for the five-year Integrated LLB course, and three-year LLB course.

MHCET Law 2022 Counselling Schedule

The counselling process of MHCET Law 2022 will be held for at least three rounds via Centranlized Admission Process (CAP) portal. The counselling schedule will include following events:

Release of Alphabetical Merit list To be announced

Similarly, the exam authority will share the detailed schedule for each round of counselling. 

MHCET Law 2022 Coubselling Process

The counselling process of MHCET Law 2022 for the five-year LLB course, and three-year LLB course will be held separately. However, the counselling process will be same for both courses, as under:

Step 1 - Online CAP registration 

Step 2 - Choice-locking 

Step 3 - Document Uploading and Verification

Step 4 - Publishing of merit list 

Step 5 -Freeze/ Float/ Exit options by candidates

Step 6 - Fee payment in case of Freeze/ Wait for next round in case of Float/ No action in case of Exit

Step 7 - Reporting to the allotted colleges/ Participate in next round 

Documents required for Counselling Process 

Candidates need to upload their documents (in the format of PDF) on the CAP portal. The required documents are - 

  • CET Law 2022 Admit Card
  • CET Law 2022 Rank Card
  • CET Law 2022 Application Form
  • Class 12th and class 10th mark sheets,
  • Graduation mark sheets and certificates (for 3-year LLB course admission)
  • Caste certificate – SC/ ST/ OBC/ MH reserved categories
  • Domicile certificate/ Birth certificate/ School leaving certificate (mentioning the place of birth/ Community, Nativity & date of birth certificate)
  • PwD certificate and medical certificate
  • Photographs (at least four)

MHCET Law 2022 Reservation Criteria 

As already informed by the exam authority, the seat allotment process will be held as per the reservation criteria given below:

Note: 5% seat in all categories above is reserved for NRI, OCI, PIO, and Foreign candidates. 

All the colleges affiliated or consituted in following Universities of Maharashtra State will accept MHCET Law 2022 scores for admission to BA LLB, BCom LLB, BBA LLB, BLS LLB, and 3-year LLB courses. These 11 universities of Maharashtra state are:
