Grand preparations are being made for the launch of MBBS first-year books in Hindi, the books will be launched by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on October 16, 2022.

Madhya Pradesh has been working on starting MBBS in Hindi despite not so encouraging response from National Medical Commission, and now Union Home Minister Amit Shah is all set to release the MBBS first-year books in Hindi at an event on October 16, 2022. 

Grand preparations are going on for the event, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang inspected the venue at Lal Parade Ground and gave necessary directives to the concerned officials, as reported by Daily Pioneer.

Sarang said that MBBS first-year Hindi course books would be released in a grand program at Lal Parade Ground, Bhopal on October 16, with Union Home and Cooperative Minister Shah as the chief guest.

Speaking about the syllabus, Edu Minister Sarang said, "The first volume of books for subjects such as Physiology, Biochemistry and Anatomy are ready and students studying in the first year of MBBS will be given these books."

"Also, for these three subjects, the textbooks were prepared by a team of experts and the second volume of these books is in the preparation process," he added.

Moreover, books are being prepared in such a manner that technical terms such as blood pressure, spine, heart, kidney and liver or other important body parts and related terms are written in Hindi as they are pronounced in English, added Sarang.
