The CM Rise Schools in Madhya Pradesh are expected to have excellent infrastructure consisting of top-notch transport facilities, smart classrooms and digital learning.
Madhya Pradesh announced some key education-related initiatives in a cabinet held on Wednesday. Madhya Pradesh’ Minister of Revenue and Transport, Govind Singh Rajput shared about the initiatives on Twitter.
The main initiatives include 33 new CM Rise Schools and 6 new medical colleges in the state.
The state government has allocated a sum of INR 1335 Crore to build the 33 new CM Rise Schools. The MP cabinet has proposed building up 6 new medical colleges in Khargone, Dhar, Bhind, Balaghat, Tikamgarh and Sidhi districts, as reported by ABP Live.

CM Rise Schools is an ambitious initiative of the state government which aims to open as many as 9095 new schools in different parts of the state in multiple phases. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan laid the foundation for 69 new CM Rise schools in October last year with an estimated spending of INR 2,519 crore. It is a dream project of Shivraj Singh Chauhan which is expected to be completed by 2031. The first phase of the project is proposed to be completed by 2024. Under the scheme, the plan is to open new schools in a radius of every 10-15 km, and a total of 360 such schools are targeted to be completed in the first phase of the scheme by 2024.
The state government had proposed to come up with 900 new CM Rise Schools in the Madhya Pradesh Budget 2023.
