Mumbai University had earlier also released the Mumbai University Exams 2022 guidelines for the upcoming exam. Students of various autonomous colleges including Narsee Monjee College, Mithibai, Jai Hind, Sophia and St Xavier’s have raised objections to offline exams. “The academic calendar has been delayed in the last two years due to the online exam and unlike online exams where results are immediately announced, offline exams will once again lead to delay in announcement of result. Why should some of us have to wait for results while our fellow students from other colleges already have results in hand? All colleges need to work in tandem during exams,” said a student of Mithibai College, Vile Parle.
"In spite of the MU declaration that the examination will be conducted in online mode, we the students of NM College are being forced to appear for offline exams in a short span of time. They explained to us that there is a competition out there but what's the point when some students of other colleges have online exams and other like us with offline? It's really unfair," one of the student tweeted.
