NDA 1 2022 Exam Analysis & Student Reaction for Mathematics

New Delhi: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted the NDA 1 2022 Mathematics paper on April 10. The exam for this paper was conducted from 10 am to 12.30 pm. The Mathematics paper carried a total of 120 questions. The total marks allotted to this paper are 300. Women candidates demanded that the seats in National Defence Academy should be increased. According to the feedback provided by students, the overall difficulty level of the Mathematics paper was moderate. The questions were simple and easy and based on the syllabus. Questions in this paper were asked from Probability, Trigonometry, Algebra, Arithmetic Progression and Geometric Progression, Matrics, Circle, Calculus, Determinants, etc. There were no questions on complex numbers. 

The level of Mathematics paper was of Class 10, 11, and 12 standards. For correct answers in the Mathematics paper, candidates will score 2.5 marks and 0.83 marks will be deducted for wrong answers.

Shiksha reported live from one of the NDA exam centres in West Delhi, where around 500 students had appeared for the exam, to gather the reactions of students regarding the difficulty level of the exam. Check below the feedback shared by the students regarding the overall difficulty of the level of the Mathematics paper.

Harshita Kumari who has attempted the paper for the second time said, "The overall paper of NDA 1 was moderate. Questions were asked Matrics, Integration, etc. The difficulty level was better than the previous years'. Most questions were asked from Matrices."

Swadin Khetri who has attempted the paper for the second time said, "The paper was moderate but there were few tricky questions too. There were simple questions too. The paper was at par with the previous years' question papers. The questions were equally distributed over all the topics. According to me there were maximum questions from Permutation and Combination."

Malini said, "The Mathematics paper of NDA 1 2022 was of moderate level. It is not so hard neither it was easy. The topics were same, however there was no repeation of questions. Mostly questions were asked about Probability and Trigonometry."
