NDA (II) 2021 vacancies announced for women candidates

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced NDA II 2021 vacancies for women candidates. A total of 10 vacancies have been announced for women candidates for Army, three for Navy and six for Air Force for National Defence Academy’s 148^th course. In compliance with the Supreme Court’s  order dated August 18, 2021 in WP (C) No.1416/2020 filed by Shri Kush Kalra vs UOI and others permitting women candidates to participate in NDA & NA 2021 II 2021 exam, the Ministry of Defence has revised the vacancies earmarking the same for women candidates.

NDA 148th course
Army	208 (including 10 for female candidates)
Navy	42 (including 3 for female candidates)
Air Force
Flying	92 (including 2 for female candidates)
GD Tech	18 (including 2 for female candidates)
GD Non Tech	10 (including 2 for female candidates)
Naval Academy 110th course
Naval Academy	30 (for male candidates only)
Total	400

UPSC is soon expected to announce NDA II 2021 result. The result will be made available in PDF form and will comprise the roll numbers of qualified candidates. On the basis of the performance in the written exam, candidates will be shortlisted for interview.

NDA exam is conducted for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). The exam comprises two stages: written exam and SSB Interview.
