NEET 2021: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the list of candidates who have been selected for 5 Covid Warriors (Deceased) seats as per merit.

In line with the Medical Counselling Committee's (MCC) earlier notification that the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has decided to allot 5 MBBS seats to Wards of COVID warriors (Deceased) who appeared and qualified for NEET 2021, MCC has released the list of candidates who have been selected for these 5 seats.

There are two candidates from Bihar, Pragya Singh and Gaurav Sharan. They have been allotted LHMC/ 1st Preference and JLN Medical College, Ajmer/ 1st Preference respectively.

Nishana Thasni is from Kerala and has been allotted Medical College, Alapuzha, Kerala/ 1st Preference. Shah Hussein Khan is from Uttarakhand and has been allotted NSCB Medical College, Jabalpur, MP/ 2nd Preference. Jamima Ahamed is from West Bengal and has been allotted Late Shri Lakhee Ram Memorial Govt. Medical College, Raigarh, Chhattisgarh / 5th Preference. These candidates need to report to the allotted colleges by April 11, 2022.

The official notification reads, "The above Candidates who have been allotted COVID Warrior Seats have to report at the allotted colleges by 11th April 2022 and complete their admission formalities." 

NEET UG 2022 notification out

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET UG 2022 notification on April 6. The exam date is July 17, 2022 (Sunday). The medical entrance exam will be conducted in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. In NEET 2021, as many as 16.14 lakh candidates had registered, out of which 15.44 lakh candidates appeared for the exam.
