NEET 2022 Application Correction Window Opens; Make Changes Till May 27 at neet.nta.nic.in

NEET 2022 application correction window has opened on May 24. Candidates who have completed the application process by paying the fee will be eligible to make changes and corrections in the NEET application form 2022. Know the details here.

NEET 2022 application correction window has been opened on May 24 by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The last date to edit or make corrections in the NEET 2022 application form is May 27, 9 pm. In an official notification released on May 24, NTA has stated, “In view of the numerous representations received from the candidates regarding allowing them to edit/modify their particulars in the Online Application Form of NEET (UG) – 2022, National Testing Agency has decided to provide an opportunity to the candidates for modifying their particulars in the Online Application Form of NEET (UG) – 2022.”

In case candidates edit details such as candidate category and that impacts the application fee, then the candidate will be charged an excess fee as applicable. In case they had paid an excess fee in the original application, it would not be refunded.

How to Make NEET 2022 Application Correction

Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to make changes or corrections in the NEET 2022 application form:

• Visit the NEET 2022 official website – neet.nta.nic.in

• Click on the ‘Correction for NEET(UG)-2022 Is Available now’ tab on top of the page

• Log in using the application number, password and security code/captcha

• Click on the tab ‘Correction in Particulars’

• Enter the OTP

• Make changes in the editable fields

• Ensure the accuracy of information before clicking on final submission

• Save and print the NEET 2022 correction slip for future use

NEET 2022 Application Form Fields That Cannot be Edited

Following are the fields that cannot be edited by the candidates:

• Mobile Number

• Email Address

• Nationality

For Aadhaar verified candidates, the following fields are uneditable:

• Candidate name

• Date of birth

• Gender

For candidates who have not verified their Aadhaar, the following fields can be edited:

• Name

• Parents’ name

• Date of Birth

• Gender

• Category and Sub-category

• Changing signature and photograph

• Past academic records

• Preference of exam centre city

• Preference of question paper medium/language

The NEET 2022 application process concluded on May 20. Originally it was scheduled to end on May 6 but was postponed twice, to May 15 and May 20. The exam will be held on July 17 in 557 cities across India and abroad.
