NEET 2022 Application Correction Window to Open Soon

The NEET 2022 application correction window is expected to open soon. The registration and application process ended on May 22. Although the National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam conducting authority has not announced the dates of providing the application correction facility yet. It is expected that the NEET application correction window will open in the last week of May.

Even though NTA has not stated whether the correction facility will be provided for the candidates, based on previous years’ trends and the events of other national level entrance exams conducted by NTA, it can be expected that NTA will provide the NEET 2022 application correction facility for the candidates. How to Make Corrections in NEET 2022 Application Form

Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to avail the NEET 2022 application correction facility:

• Visit the NEET 2022 official website – neet.nta.nic.in

• Click on the ‘Registration’ tab on top of the page

• Log in using the application number and date of birth and security code/captcha

• Click on the tab ‘Correction in Particulars’

• Make changes in the editable fields

• Ensure the accuracy of information before clicking on final submission

• Save and print the NEET 2022 correction slip for future use

Editable Fields in NEET 2022 Application Correction Window

The following details can be edited in the NEET application correction window:

• Personal details such as name, date and place of birth, parents’ name, ID card details

• Communication details such as present and permanent address

• Academic details such as board name, name of school/college/institution/university, year of passing, percentage of marks obtained

• Medium of question paper

• Exam city preference

• Parents’/guardians’ profession and annual family income

• Documents uploaded such as photograph, signature and documents can be updated in requisite format if not done originally

NEET 2022 Application Fields That Cannot Be Edited

The following fields cannot be edited in the NEET 2022 application window:

• Nationality

• Mobile Number

• Email ID

Once the NEET 2022 application correction window is over, there would not be any option to make any other changes. Based on the applications and corrections made, eligible candidates will be issued NEET 2022 admit cards tentatively in the first week of June. The exam will be held on July 17 in 557 cities in India and abroad for a duration of 200 minutes.
