NEET 2022 candidates can now check the NEET 2022 results at the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) - neet.nta.nic.in and the official website of NTA results, ntaresults.nic.in. NTA has declared the results today, September 7, 2022. The NEET 2022 result link is available at neet.nta.nic.in login 2022.
NEET 2022 exam was conducted on July 17 at 3,575 NEET 2022 exam centres located in 497 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. Over 18 lakh candidates appeared for the examination in 2022 and it was conducted in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, Assamese, Gujarati, Marathi, Odiya, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Punjabi and Telugu.
NEET 2022 was conducted for admission into the undergraduate medical courses MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, BAMS, Veterinary, and other medical/paramedical courses in India.
One of the main controversies related to NEET 2022 was witnessed in Kerala where during the frisking of students at an exam centre, female candidates were asked to remove innerwear to enter the examination hall. However, NTA conducted a NEET 2022 retest for the students who were affected due to NEET 2022 Kerala frisking incident and the Hindi medium candidates of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh who received English question papers instead of Hindi. The re-test was conducted on September 4.
Steps to check NEET 2022 result
To check the NEET 2022 result, the candidates need to do the following:
β’ Visit the official website of NTA - neet.nta.nic.in
β’ Navigate to the 'View Result' tab.
β’ Enter the roll number, password or date of birth and security pin
β’ NEET 2022 scorecard will be displayed on the screen
β’ Download and print the scorecard for future reference
About NEET 2022 counselling
NEET 2022 counselling process is expected to start within a month of the NEET 2022 result declaration. The counselling will be conducted for 15 per cent of All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 85 per cent of State Quota seats. For the AIQ seats, the counselling conducting body will be Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and for State Quota seats, respective state authorities will conduct the state counselling for NEET 2022.
