NEET PG 2022: Kerala candidates raise issues related to exam centres

Kerala's NEET PG 2022 candidates have written to the Health Minister and requested to allow exam centres near to their home town.

NEET PG 2022: Kerala candidates have written a letter to the state health minister Veena George about their concerns with the exam centre.

The letter reads, "Candidates from Kerala are allotted examination centres far away from their home town. Every year this same irrational situation comes up that the examination centres in each district gets filled very fast within hours of notification of the online application due to insufficient number of centres in each district, hence lots of candidates are unable to choose their desired district."

The candidates have highlighted in the letter that the examination is just 5 days ahead and during this pandemic time, it is not easy for them to book train/flight tickets and travel to a distant place few days before the examination. Also, for the candidates who are engaged in active clinical practice it would be difficult for them to get a long leave on such short notice.

The NEET PG 2022 candidates have requested the minister that for the candidates who have opted for "others" examination centre while submitting the application, they must be allowed to change their exam centres near to their home town.

NEET PG 2022 to be held on May 21, 2022

Despite many protests by NEET PG 2022 candidates, the exam is scheduled to be held on May 21, 2022. The NEET PG 2022 admit card was released a few days after the Supreme Court dismissed the plea to defer the examination date.
