NEET PG Counselling 2021 may start next week
The Medical Counselling Committee will soon announce the NEET UG and NEET PG Counselling 2021 dates on its official website, mcc.nic.in.
With the Supreme Court giving a green signal to the NEET PG 2021 counselling, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to start the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Postgraguate (NEET PG) counselling 2021 next week, as per reports.
The Supreme Court on Friday allowed resumption of medical counselling for NEET-PG admissions for 2021-22 and upheld the validity of 27 per cent quota for Other Backward Castes (OBC) and 10 per cent for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
The MCC will soon announce the NEET UG and NEET PG counselling dates 2021 on its official website, mcc.nic.in. The MCC will conduct four rounds of counselling from this year, earlier it was conducting only two rounds of counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats. It means after two rounds of counselling, vacant seats will not go back to the state quota.
In order to participate in the NEET PG 2021 seat allotment, candidates will have to first register themselves online. Only NEET PG 2021 qualified candidates can participate in the counselling. After registration, they will have to declare choices of colleges and specialty and then on the basis of choice filled, availability of seats in particular college, reservation criteria, and other criteria, seat allotment list will be released.
The seat allotment list for NEET PG 2021 will be released in PDF format on the official website. Candidates will have to report to allotted colleges in the given deadline issued by the MCC.
