The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the provisional seat allotment result for Round 2 of NEET 2021 counselling. The final result for Round 2 will be declared on February 26. Any discrepancy in the result should be reported to MCC by 10:00 AM of February 26 through email on the id mccresultquery@gmail.com.  The seat allotment status of as many as 25,387 candidates have been released in this result. The provisional result gives the status of institute reporting in Round 1 as well as the upgradation status. Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to check the seat allotment result of Round 2 of NEET UG counselling 2021.

  • Visit the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.

  • Click on the link indicating the Round 2 seat allotment result

  • Find your Roll Number on the PDF document

  • Download the Seat Allotment order by logging in with the registration credentials

NEET 2021 Counselling Round 2 Provisional Result Highlights

According to the Provisional Round 2 result, as many as 8,387 candidates have been allotted fresh seats. As many as 1,395 candidates’ seats have been upgraded. As many as 3,221 candidates did not fill up fresh choices after not reporting to the institute allotted in Round 1. On the other hand, 2,520 candidates who did not report in Round 1 have not been allotted any seat in Round 2.

What After Round 2 Seat Allotment Result is Declared?

After the result of seat allotment is declared, candidates will have to do the following:

  • Download the seat allotment order.

  • Report to the allotted institute and complete the admission process.

  • In case candidates are not satisfied with the allotted seat, they can opt for ‘Upgrade’ and then participate in the Mop-up Round counselling process of NEET 2021.

The institute reporting process will commence on February 27 and the last date of reporting is March 5. Candidates who would not accept the allotted seat offer and do not report to the institutes will not be granted admission to the institute. However, upon selecting the upgrade option, candidates will be eligible to participate in the third or the Mop-up round counselling. The registration process for the NEET 2021 counselling Mop-up round will commence on March 10.
