NEET UG Counselling: MCC Advises State Counselling Authorities to Abide Schedule Ratified by Supreme Court
MCC has released a notification for the NEET UG State Counselling authorities which has directed the State Counselling Authorities to follow the schedule ratified by the Supreme Court of India.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has instructed the State Counselling authorities to follow the schedule announced by the Supreme Court of India to avoid any contempt. At present, the NEET counselling process for both the undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses is underway for the All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota seats.
The MCC notification has stated, βThe state counselling authorities are requested to follow the schedule in letter and spirit to comply with the directions of the Supreme Court and to avoid any contempt in this regard.β

The first round of the NEET UG 2022 counselling has been concluded for the 15 per cent AIQ seats and the institute reporting process started on October 21 and the last date of reporting is October 28. The state counselling for states such as Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Punjab, Arunachal Pradesh, etc. is underway.
