NID DAT 2022 answer key: Question booklet cum answer key will not be released

The NID Prelims 2022 exam was conducted on January 2. Candidates will be shortlisted for DAT Mains based on their DAT Prelims scores.

The National Institute of Design (NID) will not release any question booklet cum answer key for the NID DAT 2022 Prelims exams. The institute has specified in the admission brochures for the 2022-23 admission session that the question booklet cum Answer key of the DAT exams will not be available even upon request. This means B.Des and M.Des applicants won’t be able to get their answers confirmed by consulting the official answer key.

Why doesn’t NID release any answer keys?

The institute has said that the NID DAT question booklet is highly subjective in nature. As such, it cannot be shared in the larger public interest.

Declaration of NIFT 2022 results

The results for the NIFT 2022 entrance exam will be declared tentatively in the month of February 2022. Results can be checked in online mode at - admissions.nid.edu. To check their results, the candidate will have to log-in to the result portal using their registered email id and date of birth.

Shortlist for DAT Mains 2022

The scores of NIFT 2022 will be used to shortlist candidates for the NID DAT 2022 Mains exam. The number of shortlisted candidates will be three times the number of available seats in each category.

Note that the final score of NID DAT 2022 will be prepared by giving weightage to Prelims and Mains exams. The weightage for each of these tests will be notified later.
