NIFT Counseling 2022 - Reporting and orientation for candidates who have been allotted seats

Candidates who have been allotted seats need to get in touch with the allotted campuses to get details about reporting and orientation. 

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has notified candidates who have been allotted seats in the 1st six rounds of NIFT 2022 counseling to get in touch with their allotted campuses. The institute has so far announced six rounds of allotments; seat allotment for the spot round (final round) will be announced in the last week of July 2022. The campuses will update the candidate on reporting date and orientation program. 

NIFT 2022 Counseling Process

The counseling process for NIFT 2022 is being conducted in online mode for admission to the B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and MFM courses. There are 17 participating NIFTs where candidates can get admission.

The NIFT 2022 counseling process is open to all candidates who have been allocated a Common Merit Rank (CMR) in NIFT 2022 UG and PG entrance examination.

Eligible candidates had to get registered, participate in choice filling and submit the form. As part of the choice filling process, the candidate needs to enter their choice of academic program and campuses in the order of preference.

NIFT Seat Allotment 2022

The allotment of seats is made considering the following points:

1. The NIFT 2022 merit rank of the candidate
2. The options picked at the time of choice filling
3. The seat intake for the program applied for admission.
4. Category of the candidate.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology has up till now conducted six rounds of allotment. The final round, or Spot Round, of seat allotment, will be conducted in the last week of July 2022.

Note that fresh registrations were conducted for the Spot Round from July 21-24.
